Freeze Dried Foods:

If you’re traveling, camping, hunting, or hiking, it won’t be uncommon for you to pack some provisions for yourself.  The kind which are dry and lightweight, such as a power bar. So, it’s no surprise that you would want portable nutritious food for your pet as well.  Since they’re available in one ounce medallions, the grain-free dog food are terrific nutritious treats!

Freeze dried foods have many benefits. For instance, Nature’s Variety Freeze-Dried Chicken and Turkey, Lamb, Venison, or Beef, can be fed to your dog as a single meal or as a supplement treat, training aid, or added to other foods as a palatant.  For instance, if your pet’s weight is 7.5 lbs., two medallions per day are sufficient (plus add ¼ cup of water of reconstituted).  If your dog weighs 15 lbs., four medallions per day is sufficient plus ½ cup water; if your dog is 30 lbs., eight medallions per day plus ¾ cup water.  Plus, another option is rotating the freeze dried foods into dry kibble diets, raw frozen diets and canned food.  Note: when introducing a new diet to your pet, always make the transition over several days to prevent digestive disturbances.
