Dog Weddings:

You hear the wedding bells, you know the drill. But, what if the bride is of a different sort? That’s right, it may be time to marry off your dog and the neighbor’s Fido.

First and foremost, the focus of dog weddings should be the attire. Whether you’re into the dog wedding dress and accessories (ahem, the veil), or the groom’s tuxedo, it’s important to not overlook the bridal party. Always a bridesmaid, never a bride, can’t overlook the faithful pooches who gracefully wear their bridesmaid dresses at your dog’s wedding.

  • Location – will the “ceremony” be outdoors? Indoors?  Fancy? Casual?
  • Invitations – what better way to make this a neighborhood endeavor than inviting the locals to celebrate at the dog wedding?
  • The outfit.  Let’s not kid ourselves, it’s all about the dress.  The train, the veil, the bling.
  • The groom. He shouldn’t be overlooked!  Looking dapper in his fitted tuxedo, known as the groom’s suit, is a must-have for the big day.
  • Along with bling dog collars on the surface, what really matters is comfort.  Arm holes should fit comfortably. Fabric should be washable.
