Cat Dental Care

Have you ever looked at your cat's teeth? If you haven't please take a look! Pay special attention to the back molars. Is there a build up of tartar? Does your cat's breath smell bad?

I know we all think of "hard food" as a cleaning agent for your cat's teeth. But this is simply not the case. If you look at the way your cat's mouth functions they simply cannot move the jaw left & right, it can only move up and down. They essentially pull and tear as a way they "chew". Ultimately and contrary to what commercials and marketing says pets do not chew. So imagine the hard food plus a little saliva = hard food becomes sticky like a paste. Ugg! This is no good. So why wouldn't your cat's breath smell nice? There is no way it can. (The now sticky food is now lodged in the back molars.) So of course, there is going to be build up of tartar on the back molars when your cat's diet consists of hard food.

After assessing your cat's dental condition what do you do next? (We haven't forgotten about dog dental care - click here.)

The Dog Bowl offers a product called Leba III Dental Care which is the easy and effective solution to your cat's dental needs. Unlike undergoing a "dental" from your veterinarian this simple Leba Dental Spray is not stressful. You simply spray a mist of the dental product in the cat's mouth 1-2 times per day. It mixes with your cat's saliva and attacks the bacteria and tartar build up. Results: No more "cat breath" and you will notice the tartar build up on the molars reduce and go away over time and consistent use.
