• It’s sweet dreams for your four-legged friend with our Original Bed made of soft fleece and durable nylon. Sturdy, odor- and water-resistant, it looks handsome in any living room or den. All components of this bed can be machine washed and dried, even the filling!
• Our SmartFill poly fiber is environmentally friendly because it is a clean polyester fiber that we recycle directly from a waste stream.  SmartFill is not made from recycling plastic bottles which requires a lot of energy to transport the bottles, shred them, melt the plastic into pellets, melt the pellets, and extrude the plastic back into a fiber form.  This is the same high-energy process used to make virgin poly fiber.  SmartFill is a fiber that comes directly from other manufacturers using poly fiber.  We don't have to change it, just like the fleece scraps we used to recycle when they were available.  SmartFill is a low-ebergy recycled fiber.  Best of all, it can be washed and dried in a machine at the laundromat.
• We sell our covers separately so that the consumer can simply replace the cover instead of buying an entire new bed if the cover is ever ruined by a pet or if the consumer simply wants a "new look".  Of course, the covers can be washed and dried in a machine at home.
• Not just a bed, it's a mattress! This is no ordinary dog bed, it is stuffed thick and heavy with nylon fleece pieces. Inspired by all the dog beds that are quickly thrown away because they get stinky, dirty, wear out, or their material can't survive the washing machine.
• Help save our natural resources by giving your dog a bed designed to be cleaned and last a long time. This bed can be entirely disassembled, machine washed and dried. This bed is not chew proof. If your dog chews fabric, it's not a good choice for you.
• Bottom and sides of the black outer shell are water-resistant 420 denier nylon packcloth (the same durable material used in backpacks), the sleeping surface is your choise of nylon fleece or ultra suede (see below for color options). The outer shell closes with a zipper. The inner bag is water-resistant rip-stop nylon and is also zippered.
• Washing this bed is easy and smells so good and clean when it's all back together: Take the filling out.  Wash the outer cover, inner liner-bag, and filling in warm (not hot) water on the gentle cycle, use a mild detergent which won't irritate your dog's skin. If you get a medium or large bed, it may take multiple wash loads, there's a lot of great filling in this mattress. Air-dry or put into the dryer on LOW heat (or no heat). Tuck the filling back into the inner bag, the inner bag back into the outer shell, zip it up and your dog has a nice clean bed for the night.
